Amaury Blondet is a native of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico now living in Miami, Florida. He attended Florida International University in Miami, Florida where he received his bachelors in International Business and Management in May 2008.

As owner of BloC-O Productions, Amaury has been producing multimedia productions in different languages for several years. Also, as a global producer, he supervises the video content production for Discovery Networks International digital media platforms.


In addition, he proudly participates in voluntary assignments worldwide. Among these are: USAID/EDC, Southern Sudan (Video Producer); MBC, Guatemala City (Video Producer); Regional Memorial Hospital, Florida (Emergency Room Volunteer); Nova International University, Florida (Pharmacy Research Laboratory Volunteer).

Joseph Slater Forer, Secretary

 

Professional  Background:

Mr. Forer has been involved in the cellular industry since its inception in 1986 and has an extensive background in all aspects of cellular technology from product development to consumer needs and fulfillment.


In July 2004 Mr Forer founded TRIP PHONE, Inc. which has become a leader in the international prepaid  wireless rental communications field.  TRIP PHONE Inc. offers the international business or leisure traveler the convenience of using a cellular phone at a reasonable price while traveling abroad.


From July 2003 until July 2004, Joseph Forer was the Managing Director of New Technologies at Cetro-Tek ,International, Inc in Miami, FL. In November 2003 he took on the additional responsibilities of Executive Vice President of Ximon North America, a Korean cellular telephone manufacturer.


From June 1997 until June 2002 - Joseph Forer has served as Director of International Business Development for Brightpoint Latin America. Prior to holding this position he held a seat on the Board of Directors of Brightpoint Inc., served as President of Brightpoint Latin America and was Managing Director of the Latin America division of Brightpoint, Inc.


Prior to their merger in 1996 with Brightpoint,Inc. Mr. Forer was a co-founder of Allied Communications of Florida, Inc. and Allied Communications of Puerto Rico, Inc., as well as President and a director of such companies from 1992 and 1994,respectively. From 1988 until joining Allied Communications, Mr. Forer served as Executive Vice President of Cellular World, Inc., a distributor of cellular telephone and paging equipment.


Volunteer Charity work:

Joseph Forer has been involved with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society South Florida Chapter for ten years.  He was a member of the planning committee for the Coral Gables MS Walk for four years and has served as co-chairman of the event. He has been awarded membership in the National MS Society Mission Possible Club for his fund raising achievements and is a sponsor of the South Florida MS Society Gala Luncheon.  Mr. Forer spent three years as a volunteer at the Miami Children's Hospital.  He has actively been involved in raising awareness and funds for various breast cancer charities including the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

Eric B. Schlossman, Vice-President of Operations


Mr. Schlossman is currently Vice President and Director of Latin America Operations for Consolidated Sewing Machine Corp. (CONSEW) and Unlimited Parts and Supplies.  He has resided in South Florida since 2001 having previously lived in Long Island, New York where he was Vice President of Operations and a principal of an international parts distribution company.  Mr. Schlossman has traveled Latin America extensively as well as certain regions of Asia as part of his business responsibilities.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New York University in Finance and Marketing.  Additionally Mr. Schlossman is a technology/website consultant and helps provide backbone support to many small businesses.


Mr. Schlossman has been a board member of the Sewing Products Equipment Suppliers Association (SPESA), a non-profit 501(C) corporation, since 1999 and is Website Committee Chair as well as serves on their membership committee.  Additionally, Mr. Schlossman is serving as Technology/Website Officer as a Board Member for B'nai Aviv Synagogue of Weston.


Mr. Schlossman's utilizes his extensive business experience as involves technology, marketing and operations to help guide MS Views and News as a director.

Stuart Schlossman, President

 

 

Mr. Schlossman is the founder and President of MS Views and News. Since his diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 1999, Stuart has been an active and vocal voice in the MS community.  Stuart was previously a Vice President and principal of Mico International Corp., a distributor of industrial parts and supplies to the apparel industry.  From 1980 to April 2001, his company activities included responsibility for sales in South Florida and Latin America. Stuart has traveled throughout many regions of Mexico and Central America.  He was responsible for sales and upkeep of inventory as well as intricately involved in corporate planning and quality control.


Stuart is married with 2 children and 3 grandchildren.  Besides running MS Views & News, and his other involvement in the MS community, he enjoys watching professional golf, baseball, football and ice hockey.  He also enjoys reading and writing.  Stuart, who is a workaholic, has learned to moderate his days in order to be able to work on his causes and still maintain his health.  His passion is to bring awareness of MS news to the afftected community and spread that news throughout the world.


In order to make information more available, everywhere, Stuart formed, in 2005, what is now known as MS Views & News.  In 2008 he formalized plans to turn the organization into one of the premier outlets for MS information and reached out to the community for consultants and directors.  The Board of Directors for MS Views & News has been meeting since September of 2008 and gained non-profit (501(C)(3)) status in May 2009.  As President, Stuart oversees voluntarily, the daily operations of the organization and is the driving force behind its successes.


Stuart is also involved in the National MS Society  as chair for the Coral Gables (5 years) and the Fort Lauderdale (1 year) MS Walks. Also for the National MS Society, Stuart co-facilitates a Miami-Dade MS Support Group, had captained Team Shots (an MS Walk Team) for 8 years (raising during that time more than $200,000), been personally responsible for fundraising more than $100,000, and created the MS Health Expo for the South Florida chapter.


Stuart is the creater and editor for Stu's Views and MS Related news, a weekly distributed MS related e-newsletter through MS Views & News, Inc.  Since the inception of MS Views and News, the website and/or e-newsletters are read by thousands of recipients each month.

Maria T Zaldivar - Communications

 

Maria  has lived in Miami 53 years, having arrived from Cuba when she was two years old.  She has maintained her ethnic background intact while enjoying living in the Greater Miami area all this time.  After graduating in 1977 from FIU with a Bachelor's in Social Work, she changed directions and opted for a position in the reinsurance industry in which she has remained since then.  She has been employed by leading reinsurance companies and after almost fifteen years with Employers Reinsurance/Swiss Re she presently works for Validus Re.  Her husband is a civil engineer with a small building firm that has jobs sites in Miami and neighboring cities.  Maria has two adult children, a 31 year old daughter and a 24 year old son who are independent and continue to pursue their studies.


After her diagnosis of MS in 2002 Maria has been active in the MS community inasmuch as her full time job allows. Maria is involved with 'MS Views and News' and is a patient advocate for Copaxone MS injectable therapy.
