MS Views and News Expands Its Reach, Launching MS-RANDA to Serve Patients Across Rheumatological, Autoimmune and Neurological Conditions. 

New disease-awareness platform builds on nearly two decades of trusted MS education to bring the same model of expert-led programs, vetted resources, and community support to patients living with Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Parkinson’s Disease, and other conditions. 

CORAL GABLES, FL — MS Views and News (MSVN), the 501(c)(3) patient advocacy organization founded in 2006 to provide trusted Multiple Sclerosis (MS) education and support, today announced the launch of MS-RANDA — MS Rheumatological Autoimmune Neurological Disease Awareness — a new disease-awareness platform that extends the organization’s mission beyond MS to serve patients and care-partners living with a broader range of rheumatological, autoimmune, and neurological conditions and rare diseases. 

A Foundation Built on Nearly Two Decades of Trusted MS Education 

MS Views and News was founded in 2006 by Stuart Schlossman, who was diagnosed with MS in 1998 and became a dedicated, vocal advocate for the MS community. In 2008, Stuart formalized plans to build the organization into one of the premier sources of MS information, assembling a Board of Directors and, in May 2009, achieving official 501(c)(3) non-profit status. 

In the years since, MSVN has grown into a trusted, grassroots resource for MS patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals — with a particular focus on reaching rural and underserved communities across the United States. The organization has hosted live educational seminars across Florida since 2010, delivering 500+ programs featuring neurologists, psychologists, social workers, physical therapists, and other MS specialists, alongside a growing schedule of virtual webinars. Its monthly e-Newsletter, The MS Beacon, reaches readers in more than 90 countries, and its MS Learning Channel on YouTube has become one of the largest libraries of MS educational video content available online. MSVN also maintains an active presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X, connecting patients and care-partners with reliable information wherever they are. 

Expanding the Mission: Introducing MS-RANDA (MS Rheumatological Autoimmune Neurological Disease Awareness) 

Over nearly two decades, MSVN has heard consistently from its community that the same barriers MS patients face — scarce trustworthy information, isolation after diagnosis, and difficulty navigating treatment decisions — are shared by patients living with other rheumatological, autoimmune, and neurological conditions. MS-RANDA was created to meet that need. 

Operating as a subdivision of MS Views and News, Inc., MS-RANDA (msranda.org) applies MSVN’s proven model — global collection and distribution of vetted information, expert-led educational programs, and community support — to a wider circle of diagnoses, including Lupus (SLE), Rheumatoid Arthritis, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, NMOSD, MOGAD, Myasthenia Gravis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Crohn’s Disease, Migraine, Dementia, Parkinson’s Disease, Sjögren’s Disease, and Multiple Sclerosis. 

The new platform gives visitors a single, trusted starting point to understand their condition, join live and virtual educational programs led by physicians and other medical experts, and connect with a community of people who understand what they’re going through. Recently developed virtual programs — including sessions led by a neurologist for Parkinson’s Disease and a two-part series pairing a rheumatologist and a licensed clinical social worker for Lupus — reflect the expanded model already taking shape across new condition areas.
